Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer well-known for his distinct mixture of soul gospel, R&B as well as R&B. From Broadway to European festival and clubs, Sunshine has performed all over the world. Sunshine, whose given name was Denise White. Though she's located in Atlanta but her origins are located in Chester Pennsylvania. There she first began to develop the musical profession by performing and singing at the church. She attended Spellman College in Atlanta where she began her training within Atlanta's R&B scene. The band was hired as the principal keyboardist for Tyler Perry's stage play Meet the Browns in 2005. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 for a position as the director of chorus for Dreamgirls, the theatre production in Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine gained national recognition for four daily performances during the Democratic National Convention in 2008. Sunshine was invited to sing as part of Obama's inaugural ceremony in 2009.
