Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko competes as Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thailand fighter in the flyweight division. Valentina Shevchenko, a former UFC Flyweight title holder as well as UFC friend of hers is her elder sister. Antonina Shevchenko's combat sport career began in the form of an Muay Thai athlete. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title after which she defeated Suzane Mller in a unanimous decision. Antonina kept her winning streak going by winning a silver and bronze medal in 2008 and 2007 respectively, and a gold medal in 2011 along with the title of 2015 IFMA amateur world champion. Antonia was a professional who started her career as a professional at the age of three, was awarded in 2012 and the 2016 International Lion Fight Lightweight championships. The WMC World Championships also staged in 2016, and she took home the 2016 IFMA Amateur Thailand World Champion. Antonina's final fight took place at the Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. She was victorious by unanimous decision. Antonina Shychenko's professional MMA debut took place in 2002, at the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan when she faced Anara Bayanova. She went 3-0, after winning the second-round TKO. The following two fights were won at WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko stopped her involvement in MMA so that she could focus on kickboxing. She made her comeback to fight Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko won against Anissa in an unanimous decision. She was able to beat Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. She quit the promotion and began Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina defeated Nievera by her superior striking abilities at the end of the fight with knees placed on her body. Antonina Shevchenko was given the UFC Contract after this victory. Antonina made her UFC debut during the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale, against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi by a split-decision fight after winning the first fight via an unanimous decision. Antonina recovered from her loss, and defeated Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke and won the fight of the night reward during the bout. Shevchenko went 1-2 during her subsequent three bouts, defeating Ariane Lipski and losing to Katlyn Chookagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina recently lost by TKO in the second round, losing to Casey O'Neill, at UFC Fight Night Santos Vs. Walker.
