Annabelle Gurwitch, an American comedy actress and TV host is well known for her tenure as hostess in Dinner and a Movie. She has also been a vocal advocate on the environment and human rights. Annabelle Gurwitch, a New York Times Best-Seller author as well as a an internationally acclaimed actor, was The New York Times's Top-Seller author of her memoirs: Whatever You're Doing, They Are I See It was a long time ago that you tried to Said Tomato When you say Fired, I Say Shut up and Fired. It was also featured in an episode of a Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch is best known for her long tenure as host of TBS Dinner & a Movie. In addition, she has appeared on TV shows like Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown. She makes regular appearances on PBS Newhour Real Time with Bill Maher and on NPR and also writes opinion pieces for the New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter and satire for The New Yorker and McSweeeneys. The work she does as an actor on stage has earned her a spot in the annual critics top Ten Performances of the Year for each of The New York and Los Angeles Times. Annabelle shares wisdom and her humorous review of ageing in our youth obsessed culture.
