Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis in Missouri. She performed with The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with a BA (with distinction) in Communications and Theatre. When she moved from Missouri to Los Angeles, she became involved with theater arts as she began performing as well as choreographing over 2 dozen plays and musicals such as The Little Foxes Brady Bunch at Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera as well as 7 titles roles in LA's award-winning Storybook Theatre. In addition to continuing her studies in improvisation in The Groundlings and becoming a part of the company at Theatre West Kelly also started getting roles for television and film. Her distinct voice and diminutive stature has allowed her to play a variety of bright characters. She was known to the people for her role of the evil Samara alongside Naomi Watts, in The Ring 2. But Kelly is more well-known as the bright and cheery receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly worked as an TV Land Series Regular from 2011-2015, playing paralegal during the daytime and a party girl at night. In addition, she was the sassy sister of Alyssa in ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the CW's No Tomorrow she portrayed the stressed suburban mom. She sang in soprano for several cartoons such as Tom & Jerry, Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins. Recent appearances include her as the charming and dim Cloud 9 employees on NBC's popular comedy Superstore. With her husband and their two kids, she lives a quiet life.
