She played the role of She-Ra and Adora on the DreamWorks animated show She-Ra as well as the Princesses of Power under Netflix from 2018-2020. Carrero was engaged to with actor Tim Rock in November 2015 and they were married on the 16th of August in 2016. She voiced Elena who was the Princess of Avalor as part of Sofia the First, a spinoff series. Also, she was Tasha and Mia respectively in "Skater Girl Island" and also in an episode from Hannah Montana. She also played Sylvia Torres on Lincoln Heights for ABC Family and Sydney on Baby Daddy.
